The larvae feed upon wild Blue Lupine, a plant that requires sandy ground to thrive. Males have silvery to dark blue wings, while the females typically are much duller with some orange spots on the bottom.Approximately 3" in size and sewn onto sturdy black twill.

It is a very important pollinator to both humans and animals.
